1 - Remove all bolts from the throttle shroud including the 1/4” throttle pivot bolt (Item 3) and remove the bottom half

2 - Remove the stock throttle handle (Twist to align cable with slot and slide out cable)

3 - Remove the bolt and washer retaining the throttle cable

4 - Place the Cruise Retainer (Item 1) around the throttle cable and casted mount

5 - Insert the bolt and washer to hold and retain throttle cable and Cruise Retainer (Item1)

6 - Insert the throttle cable into the throttle handle end and leave “floating” without the ¼” bolt (Item 3)

7 - Replace the bottom half throttle shroud and all screws (removable “blue” lock-tite recommended)

8 - Attach the throttle with the 1/4” pivot throttle bolt (Item 3)

9 - With the throttle in the resting (idle) position and the motor running at idle, adjust the throttle cable length at the throttle body side (underneath air intake) to remove all slack in idle RPM
